This policy explains what data onestation (the Mac app, the phone web app, remote nodes and this website) processes, and why. Contact: hello@onestation.dev.
What stays on your machines
- Inbox and agent state. Questions, answers, agent status and settings are stored locally in
~/.onestation/on your Mac. - Phone app. The phone web app is served by your own Mac and talks to it over your local network or your tailnet. It does not pass through our servers.
- Remote nodes. Nodes on your servers connect to your Mac, not to us.
Routing and AI models
When the router needs a language model to understand a request or pick the right agent, onestation uses your own Claude login. Those requests go directly to Anthropic under your account and are covered by your agreement with Anthropic. We never see them, and we do not sell, share or use your sessions to train models.
What we process
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email, country, plan and payment status, never your card details.
- Licenses. Our license service stores your email, license ID, plan and up to two device activations (a random device identifier and Mac model) so it can enforce the two-Mac limit and resend your key.
- Email. License emails are sent through SendGrid. We only email you about your purchase and, rarely, important product changes.
- Updates. The app checks
onestation.dev/appcast.xmlonce a day. Our web server logs the request (IP address, app version, macOS version) for up to 30 days for security and capacity. - Website. This site uses no cookies and no analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
Legal basis and retention
We process purchase and license data to perform our contract with you, and server logs on the basis of legitimate interest in running a secure service. License records are kept while your license is valid and for as long as tax law requires afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@onestation.dev. If you are in the EU, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes and tell license holders by email about material changes.
